Eaton Fire Update #3 - January 9, 2025
Today, we continue to pray for all those impacted by the Eaton Canyon Fire and other wildfires raging across the region.
La Salle is currently located in a fire warning zone, with surrounding areas under a mandatory evacuation. The air quality surrounding the school is also at an unhealthy rating and is having direct adverse impacts on those outside and even inside the school building.
Due to these conditions, all school and campus activities and instruction, including on and off-campus athletics, will continue to be suspended this week. As of today, due to the active ongoing fire threat, worsening environmental conditions, and significant community impact, La Salle will remain closed on Monday, January 13th. We will continue to assess the situation and remain in contact with local authorities as we work to determine if it is safe to open campus. We will provide you with daily updates to ensure you are informed of any changes to our plans.
