Dear La Salle Families,

Congratulations to our 2022 Girls Varsity Basketball State CIF Regional Champions! With their historic win and state championship berth on Tuesday night, we’d like to share a few updates with you regarding our celebration plan for Friday, March 11th. Please see the below information regarding our updates:

• The State CIF Girls Basketball Division III Championship game will be held in Sacramento at the Golden One Center at 2:00 PM.
• Classes will be canceled and La Salle will be closed on Friday, March 11th in observance of our historic championship win! All offices will be closed to allow our community to celebrate (and travel) to cheer on our girls! All other athletic teams will practice and play as scheduled.
• The championship game may be broadcast live on TV or online! Once the broadcast information is finalized, visit lasallehs.org/links for more information.
• Note: A-2 Day classes from March 11th, the April 13th 7-period day will be switched to a special A-2 class rotation.

Lancer Support Bus Transportation to Championship Game

The school will be chartering buses to take interested students, parents, faculty, and staff to the championship game in Sacramento. The bus is scheduled to leave La Salle on Friday, March 11th at 5:00 AM, returning to La Salle on Saturday, March 12th at approximately 2:00 AM.

Student Interest and Permission:

• If your child is interested in joining us on the bus, please review, sign and submit this permission form no later than Thursday, March 10th at 12:00 PM (noon). This will ensure we secure enough transportation for all those interested.
• Our Student Life Team will be providing snack packs to students in the morning. However, students must also bring money if they would like to purchase snacks and meals throughout the trip.
• While game tickets may be purchased online in advance, discounted student tickets will be available at the arena upon arrival. Note that all attendees must be in compliance with all CIF and Golden 1 Arena health and safety rules and protocols. Verification of compliance will be a requirement to board the bus.

Parent/Family Interest and Waiver Form:

• If your family is interested in joining us for this historic game, a separate family bus will be chartered. If your family would like to join us, please review, sign and submit this interest and waiver form no later than Thursday, March 10th at 12:00 PM (noon).
• Note: This interest form/waiver only applies to parents, family members, and non-La Salle students/children. If your current La Salle student is interested in riding the student bus, we must have their separate permission form (above) submitted.
