Catholic Schools Week is a time to celebrate the faith and excellence of Catholic education, which encompasses more than just what goes on in the classroom. It’s a time of giving back to the community by serving and participating in service projects that goes beyond the school day. With service being at the center of our Lasallian mission, our students, faculty and staff spent the week embracing the themes of faith, excellence, and service as they volunteered at organizations across the San Gabriel Valley, such as Union Rescue Mission, Santa Teresita, Baby 2 Baby, Project Angel Food, Foothill Unity Center, the Pasadena Education Foundation, Fred Jordan Mission, Mater Dolorosa, Heart of Compassion and St. Francis Center.
