Daniel De La Torre '13 has qualified for the Olympic Trials in the Marathon. La Torre ran a 2:17:32 at the Sacramento Marathon to come under the 2:18:00 standard to qualify! Congratulations, Daniel!

Daniel (listed by his middle name Emilio) is La Salle's first and only state champion in Cross Country. He was a two-time CIF Champion in XC, and four-time CIF champion in Track & Field (1600 and 3200). In addition, Daniel was a two-time state meet qualifier in XC, and four-time state meet qualifier in Track &Field, the most by one athlete in school history.
