Lancers Succeed at City of Hope Virtual Education and Research Training
We are proud to announce that six of our CARLOW Center for Medical Innovation students, Sarah Holguin ‘23, Avery Ward ‘24, Jessica Frias ‘24, Isabella Conde ‘24, Jewel Paz ‘24, and Nathaniel Rodarte ‘24 participated in the City of Hope Virtual Education and Research Training - YES2SUCCESS program!This program is designed to teach students about various laboratory techniques and experiments using virtual platforms like Labster and LabXchange, while also providing insight into cancer research. Students completed various assignments including in-depth virtual laboratory simulations, and attended weekly professional development sessions on constructing a professional elevator pitch, individual development plans, and asking for letters of recommendation.At the end of the program, our students received certificates and stipends for their hard work and dedication to learning! Congrats to all of our students on this amazing achievement!
