Lee Franklin Selected as La Salle's New Vice President of Institutional Advancement

We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Lee Franklin as our new Vice President of Institutional Advancement. He brings a wealth of experience and impressive leadership skills to this vital role.

Lee boasts a remarkable 30-year career, including distinguished accomplishments in the U.S. military and a successful post-military journey as an entrepreneur and business executive. His background spans eight diverse sectors: government, military, finance, and technology. He holds advanced degrees from US Naval War College and Command Project Management College and has been awarded two Presidential Citations, a testament to his dedication and commitment to excellence.

His military service exhibited exceptional leadership skills, sharpened during his role as the Command Master Chief of Elite Personnel for Submarine Squadron One at Pearl Harbor, a squadron of submarines of over 1000 men. As the Chief of Boat for the USS Cheyenne, one of the most capable nuclear attack submarines in the world, Lee's leadership instilled professionalism, loyal dedication, and faithful service in officers and men of diverse backgrounds who represented almost every state in the Union and shared a common goal.

Upon transitioning to civilian life, Lee continued to demonstrate his ability to be a strategic leader as the Director of Product Development at BendPak, Inc. There, he led a team of professionals in developing nine products to market, resulting in a significant revenue increase. Most notably, during that time, he invented and patented the COOLEE and launched the acclaimed COOL BOSS product line. From there, Lee worked at LGH Management Group, fostering improved sales growth despite the COVID-19 crisis. Most recently, Lee’s expertise as the Vice President of Operations at SIERA.AI empowered executive leaders by developing customer communication frameworks that ultimately increased investor conversion rates and customer retention. His remarkable ability to envision and execute expansion, amplify revenue, and elevate brand visibility has made him a sought-after leader and innovator.

Lee’s experiences and skill sets make him an exceptional addition to La Salle College Preparatory as our school’s next Vice President of Institutional Advancement. In this role, Lee will lead La Salle’s philanthropic efforts, which include growing our San Miguel Scholarship Program, fostering connections between our school and extended community, donors investing in all aspects of the school mission, and strategically enhancing our school’s long-term development and sustainability.

He brings unparalleled leadership, discipline, and strategic planning skills to this leadership role. Lee's experience in mentorship, crisis management, and ethical operations fosters a supportive and structured environment. His ability to build cohesive teams, grow and manage resources efficiently, and engage with the community enhances the school's overall effectiveness and reputation.

Please join me in warmly welcoming Lee Franklin to the La Salle family. We are confident that his friendly nature, energetic attitude, relational strength, strategic vision, operational execution, philanthropic acumen, and entrepreneurial expertise will significantly contribute to our continued growth and success.

Sincerely,

Perry Martin, M.Ed.
School President
