Our La Salle Speech and Debate team had an incredible weekend at the Big Bronx Invitational in New York! Four of our Lancers represented La Salle at the tournament and performed to their full potential.

For the first time, Darya Rytova ‘23 made the quick jump from Debate to Limited Preparation Speaking for the tournament, Gavin Hussain ‘23 and Joseph Nahas ‘24 won 4 out of 7 rounds and came close to making it to the final rounds, and Callum Rangan ‘23 made it to the final round in Humorous Interpretation and placed 6th overall in the tournament.

We can finally say that our Speech and Debate Program has officially gone national!
