• Major Ben Meier ’00, USAF Memorial Scholarship

    Luke Sedlacek ’24 was presented with this first-time $5,000 scholarship made possible by the Meier Family for a graduating senior who is attending a military academy like Ben did. Major Benjamin D. Meier was in the United States Air Force and was a La Salle graduate from the Class of 2000. Ben’s career as an Air Force fighter pilot had him deployed to Iraq, Libya, and twice to Afghanistan.     At this year's Senior Presentation, our graduates shared their moment of triumph in front of the entire student body, celebrating their accomplishments and marking the end of their high school journey.     Reflecting on our first year in the Center for Cinematic Arts, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for all that we have accomplished as a center.   • A 2024 Success

    The 2023-2024 school year has come to an end. This year, a great deal was accomplished. We had the largest group in La Salle history to enter the science fair. A total of six projects and ten students represented our school this year at the Los Angeles County Science and Engineering Fair. Our students returned with many positive comments on their projects from judges and ideas for next year.   • Preparation for the LA Science Fair

    As we ring in 2024, the CARLOW Center is aflutter with students diligently working on their science fair projects for the Los Angeles County Science and Engineering Fair. Brianna and Lily Balian were in the lab working away during their Christmas break to start their experiment. Brianna and Lily are working with primary rat neurons and how fatty acid and glucose supplementation affect neural development.
