Lasallian Heritage Scholarship Recipient Havana Pagan '28
Congratulations to the Class of 2028 Lasallian Heritage Scholarship Recipient Havana Pagan! The Lasallian Heritage Scholarship is sponsored by the La Salle Alumni Association and focuses on recognizing individual students who embody the tenants of faith, service and community- pillars of our Lasallian tradition. This is a $10,000 scholarship that is applied over four years to the Student’s tuition ($2,500 a year). All prospective freshmen applicants are eligible to apply. The scholarship is funded by the Alumni Association's biennial Taste of La Salle, a food and beverage tasting event, that will return to campus in Spring 2025.

Cultural Exchange with Lasallian Partner Schools from Zaragoza, Spain
This spring, we welcomed 16 students and two faculty members from our Lasallian partner schools in Zaragoza, Spain, to La Salle! The visit celebrated a reciprocal exchange following our journey to Zaragoza last fall. Our guests experienced life at La Salle first-hand, joining their counterparts in classes and extracurricular activities and enjoying the hospitality of our host families. One of the highlights was the dual-language speaking activity with our Spanish honors students, fostering cultural understanding and creating lasting friendships. We're grateful for this meaningful intercultural experience and send our best wishes to our friends from Spain.

What colleges/universities did you graduate from and what degrees did you receive from each? I began at the University of Florida where I studied foreign languages and education, then onto The San Francisco Conservatory of Music where I earned a Bachelor of Arts, then onto the University of Houston where I earned a Master of Music Education, and finally, the University of St. Thomas for Masters work in Education specializing in urban school districts.
