Our Winter Performing Arts Showcases concluded with enchanting melodies from the Jazz Band Concert, classical enchantment at the Combined Band and Strings Concert, and the rhythmic magic of the Dance and Choir Showcase. The stages radiated with the warmth of the season as our Lancers brought their talents to life. From festive tunes to graceful movements, our hardworking performers left a lasting impression on the hearts of everyone in attendance. We're incredibly proud of their dedication and cheers to a successful winter showcase and a joyful holiday season ahead!

Alumni Adopt-A-Family Christmas Success
On December 2nd, alumni volunteers along with family members and friends wrapped 200+ presents that were purchased with alumni donations for the needy families the Alumni Association adopted for the holidays in connection with La Salle's annual Adopt A Family program. The Wrapping Party took place in the dining hall with plenty of coffee, hot chocolate and holiday cheer. Santa was also on hand for pictures with alumni, kids and pets. Daniel De La Torre '13 has qualified for the Olympic Trials in the Marathon
Daniel De La Torre '13 has qualified for the Olympic Trials in the Marathon. La Torre ran a 2:17:32 at the Sacramento Marathon to come under the 2:18:00 standard to qualify! Congratulations, Daniel! Daniel (listed by his middle name Emilio) is La Salle's first and only state champion in Cross Country. He was a two-time CIF Champion in XC, and four-time CIF champion in Track & Field (1600 and 3200). In addition, Daniel was a two-time state meet qualifier in XC, and four-time state meet qualifier in Track &Field, the most by one athlete in school history.
