Daniel De La Torre '13 has qualified for the Olympic Trials in the Marathon. La Torre ran a 2:17:32 at the Sacramento Marathon to come under the 2:18:00 standard to qualify! Congratulations, Daniel! Daniel (listed by his middle name Emilio) is La Salle's first and only state champion in Cross Country. He was a two-time CIF Champion in XC, and four-time CIF champion in Track & Field (1600 and 3200). In addition, Daniel was a two-time state meet qualifier in XC, and four-time state meet qualifier in Track &Field, the most by one athlete in school history.

Class of 2013 Ten Year Reunion
The Class of 2013 celebrated their 10 Year Reunion on Friday, November 24th on the patio at El Cholo in the Paseo Colorado. Nearly 60 members of the class were in attendance along with favorite faculty members Mr. Tom O'Connor, Mr. Ed O'Connor, Mrs. Kjersti Holyfield, and Mrs Lisa Charley (formerly Schulman). From London to Yale, our Lancer Scholars continue to shine! After the triumph at the World Scholar’s Cup Global Round, six of our Lancers took on the challenge at the Tournament of Champions at Yale. Competing in a senior division with 1,500+ students from 60+ countries, they secured SECOND place overall.
