What is the CARLOW Center?
The CARLOW Center for Medical Innovation is a unique and one-of-a-kind space for students interested in all aspects of health care. We offer a variety of different focuses, from hands-on patient care to 3D modeling, printing, and fitting of prosthetics. As the Director of the CARLOW Center for Medical Innovation, my goal was to prepare interested students for future careers in health care while making them competitive university applicants. The Center for Cinematic Arts is an immersive environment fostering digital storytelling and honing filmmaking skills. It provides a nurturing atmosphere that empowers students to express their individuality and offers a platform for authentic storytelling. The program equips film and media studies students with in-depth content knowledge. It prepares them to apply confidently to esteemed film schools nationwide. Class of 2027 Freshmen Retreat and Service Day
The Class of 2027 recently attended their freshhmen retreat at the First Church of Nazarene. During their time there, they delved into the meaning of being part of the Lasallian community and engaged in activities that fostered stronger relationships with one another and with God. Apart from the retreat, they also participated in a service day dedicated to giving back to the community. Specifically, they visited the Fred Jordan Mission and LA Food Bank, where they worked on several service projects.
