Class of 1972 Golden Diploma Presentation
Members of the Class of 1972 were invited back to campus on May 27th to receive their Golden Diplomas at Commencement in honor of the 50th Anniversary of their graduation from La Salle. A campus tour and luncheon followed. Due to the pandemic, the Class of 1971 was also in attendance celebrating their belated Fifty-Year Reunion. Class of 2022 Legacies

63rd Annual Commencement
134 members of the Class of 2022 graduated on Kohorst Field on Friday, May 27, 2022. 133 members of the class (99%) will attend four-year colleges and universities or two-year colleges. The students attending four-year colleges (86%) will be spread over 21 states, the District of Columbia, and the United Kingdom. Students applied to an average of 10 schools. 76 students (57%) will attend 16 public colleges and 16 private colleges. Congratulations Class of 2022 and welcome to La Salle's Alumni Association. Dash Award
The Dash Award is a scholarship that was instated in 2016 in honor of Arion Tavakoli ’09 who passed away in 2014. The Tavakoli family instituted this $1,500 scholarship to honor a graduating senior who lives each day with passion to make a difference and has a love and appreciation of life, which are the same values that Arion showed during his short time on this earth. Sreya Chilukuri ’22 Is a National Merit Scholar
Congratulations to Sreya Chilukuri '22 for being awarded the National Merit University of Southern California Scholarship! Each year colleges and universities support about 4,000 Merit Scholarship awards for Finalists who have been admitted to and will attend their institutions. Only Finalists who notify NMSC by the published deadlines of their plans to attend a sponsor institution are considered for college-sponsored Merit Scholarship awards.

Class of 2022 Claims Back-to-Back Victory with the Return of Showdown
After a two year hiatus, our Lancer Showdown returned as spirited as ever, with the 8th annual Showdown. A class vs class competition, the Showdown took place May 12th in the Duffy Lewis Gymnasium. Having the Showdown again was a welcome and joyous occasion. Even though the Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors had not participated in one before, they showed up and brought their ready-to-go energy. Our La Salle College Preparatory annual Crystal Ball Award and Scholarship Dinner returned this year and was held at the Noor in Old Pasadena Town on Friday, May 13, 2022. Harmonic Resonance
Our La Salle College Preparatory Department of Arts & Media presented the performance Harmonic Resonance. The performance was held on May 19th and included all our talented musicians from Band Strings, and Jazz.
