Today marks another exciting day of Catholic Schools Week with the Freshman class venturing out into the community through service projects at Project Angel Food, Fred Jordan, Heart of Compassion, Foothill Unity Pasadena, Santa Teresita, Union Rescue Mission Warehouse, and Mater Dolorosa. The students are embracing the themes of faith, excellence, and service as they work to help those in need and make a positive impact in the world. The Sophomore Class Kicks Off Their Service Projects as Catholic Schools Week Begins
Catholic Schools Week is a time to celebrate the faith and excellence of Catholic education, which encompasses more than just what goes on in the classroom. It’s a time of giving back to the community by serving and participating in service projects that goes beyond the school day. The Sophomore Class went to the Union Rescue Mission, Project Angel Food, Foothill Unity Monrovia, Pasadena Education Foundation, and Santa Teresita to give back and put their faith into action.

Global Exchange Kicks Off with Students from Taiwan
The week of January 23rd, La Salle welcomed students and chaperones from Taiwan’s Global Elite Project for Youth. This marks the first cultural exchange visit in La Salle’s history, made possible by our new Center for Global Initiatives & Cultural Perspectives. The mission is to learn about our student life, campus culture, and teaching methods while fostering curiosity, creativity, and new cultural perspectives.
