All prospective students and parents are invited to submit an Admissions Inquiry. The inquiry is intended to help our Admissions Officers learn more about your prospective student, schedule visits, and reach out regarding other fun and exciting opportunities at La Salle.

Our application for the 2026-2027 school year is now available! All prospective students are required to fill out an Application for Admission.

There is a $150 non-refundable application fee due at the time of submission for all applications.

Once an application is submitted, interested families may apply for financial aid through our Clarity Financial Aid Application.

The priority application deadline was January 16, 2026. However, La Salle will continue to accept admissions applications on a space-available basis for all grade levels. Once we receive all required supplemental materials, we will review your application and issue an admissions decision on a rolling basis.

Please reach out to us at (626) 696-4310 or admissions@lasallehs.org if you have any questions!

The student/parent interview process provides our Admissions Review Committee with the opportunity to meet and chat with the prospective student, as well as their parents.

We require all students and parent(s)/guardian(s) to interview with a member of the Admissions Team as part of the application process (typically held in January). We encourage all families to schedule their interviews as soon as possible, as spaces are limited. Parents will have the ability to schedule an interview through the Finalsite application portal after submitting an application for admission. Please reach out to the Admissions team to schedule an interview.

Freshman applicants must submit two recommendations: one each from the student’s current English and Math teachers. Please login to your application portal to send the recommendation requests to the teachers directly.

Once the teacher has completed and submitted the recommendation, it will be sent directly to our admission team. Your applicant checklist will be updated to show that the recommendation was received.

Transfer applicants must submit at least one letter of recommendation from a current teacher. Be sure to log in to your application portal to send the recommendation to your desired teacher.

Transcripts provide our Admissions Review Committee with a means of evaluating a student’s academic progress at their previous school(s). However, transcripts are just one part of our holistic review of an applicant.

Freshman Applicants: 6th, 7th & 8th grade transcripts are required to complete your application.

Transfer Applicants: All high school transcripts are required to complete your application.

After creating a SchoolAdmin account and submitting an application, use the Request Transcripts section of the portal to request your transcripts from your previous school(s).

For the 2025-2026 admissions season, La Salle College Preparatory will now require applicants to submit scores from either the High School Placement Test (HSPT) or the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). This update is meant to create a standard baseline that will help us determine honors placement for English, Biology, and Social Studies. Additionally, students will be required to take a La Salle Mathematics Course Advancement Test separate from the standardized tests to help determine the appropriate mathematics course level best suited for their academic ability in our curriculum. More information regarding this change can be found by clicking here.

La Salle will offer an official HSPT test date on campus in January for students who are not taking the test anywhere else. Specific details regarding registration for this test date will be made available on our admissions website.

The below students will be *required to submit an English proficiency exam when applying for admission to La Salle:

  • International students who do not speak English as their first language

  • Domestic students who have fewer than two years of English as the primary language of instruction

  • Students who are or were enrolled in an English-language support program within the last two years

The TOEFL IBT and Duolingo English exams will be accepted to fulfill the English proficiency exam application requirement. Below, you will find our minimum score requirements for each exam:

  • TOEFL IBT = 75 Score

  • Duolingo English Test = 105

If you are unable to submit a score that meets our minimum requirements, please reach out to the Admissions Team at admissions@lasallehs.org or Mr. MJ Mao, Director of Global Programs, at mjmao@lasallehs.org.

*Exceptions to the English Proficiency Requirements – Students who have three or more consecutive years of English as the primary language of instruction are exempt from the English proficiency requirements, regardless of international or domestic status.
