Under a night inspired by the romance and elegance of Midnight in Paris, La Salle College Preparatory’s 2026 Crystal Ball transformed The Langham Huntington into an unforgettable celebration of community, generosity, and mission. More than 220 guests gathered for the evening, including parents, alumni, faculty, board members, past Crystal Ball honorees, and friends of La Salle, all united in support of the school’s commitment to student well-being and mental health initiatives.
A special highlight of the evening was the recognition of this year’s honorees, Jason and Heather Young P’14, ’17, ’21, and ’26, whose longstanding generosity, leadership, and dedication to the La Salle community continue to make a lasting impact. Their commitment to Catholic education and belief in the mission of La Salle embody the spirit of service and compassion that defines our school community.
This year’s Crystal Ball focused on advancing student wellbeing and mental health initiatives, an area of growing importance within our community. Through meaningful storytelling and a compelling program, guests gained a deeper understanding of the challenges many students face and the important role La Salle plays in supporting their growth, resilience, and overall well-being.
One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was the special ask, during which guests responded with extraordinary generosity and compassion. Their support will directly strengthen counseling services, wellness programming, and student support resources that help ensure every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive both academically and personally.
The evening was further elevated through the incredible partnership and contributions of our sponsors and collaborators, whose generosity and attention to detail enhanced every aspect of the event. From the elegant atmosphere inspired by Midnight in Paris to the thoughtfully curated program, the Crystal Ball reflected the strength, warmth, and spirit of the La Salle community.
Most importantly, the evening served as a powerful reminder of what is possible when a community comes together in support of a shared mission. The generosity demonstrated at this year’s Crystal Ball will help bring the La Cascade Project to life and ensure that La Salle continues to care for the whole child, mind, body, and spirit.
La Salle College Preparatory extends its deepest gratitude to everyone who attended, supported, sponsored, volunteered, and contributed to the success of this year’s Crystal Ball. Together, our community continues to make a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of our students.
